A lone Protoceratops andrewsi races across a dry lake bed while thunderheads loom in the distance.
* I have depicted this animal as a facultative biped,meaning that it would ocassionaly travel on two legs but is primarily quadrapedal.
* The tail spines are loosely based on the quill like structures recently found on a Psittacosaurus.

Protoceratops was small ceratopian from Mongolia that lived roughly 83 million years ago..Later ceratopians include the far larger Triceratops and Torosaurus.
